1: A STRONG PARTNERSHIP WITH UFC GYM USA
UFC Gym received many offers of partnership and cooperation from around Asia but eventually chose Vietnam in which to open the very first branch in Asia.

On October 18 2016, after more than two years of preparation, the first UFC Gym in Asia opened in Thao Dien Pearl, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. The leaders of the CMG.ASIA corporation, representatives of UFC Gym Global and Hall-of-Famer Chuck Liddell were all in attendance. During his speech at the opening ceremony, UFC Gym CEO Brent Leffel said that one of the reasons they chose Vietnam as the location for the first gym was due to their belief in, and partnership with, the California Management Group.
2: INTERNATIONAL 5-STAR FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
In order to bring UFC Gym to Vietnam, CMG.ASIA had to ensure that the conditions, facilities and equipment met the UFC’s stringent standards. UFC Gym Vietnam boasts top of the line, imported equipment not seen in the region in a modern, 5-star training environment.
3: CHAMPION COACHES
Another factor in the decision making process was the quality of the coaches the gym provides. Coaches and trainers at UFC Gym Vietnam are professionals, medallists and champions, in particular, Arnaud Lepont.
Arnaud "The Game" Lepont was born in France in 1980 and is heavily experienced in MMA and Brazilian Jiujitsu. He is a One Championship victor as well as the Pan Asia BJJ 2015 Absolute Brown Belt champion. He lived in many countries before deciding to settle in Vietnam, where he found a family, a job and great practice conditions. He continued to train while also coaching other fighters and was considered one of the very first MMA practitioners to fight out of Vietnam.
